SOUND FAMILIAR?
/ The headache that
turns up every afternoon
✓A tight band or pressure around your forehead
✓Starts at the base of your skull and creeps forward
✓Worse after long days at a laptop or driving
✓Stiff neck and shoulders that never quite let go
✓Painkillers take the edge off but it keeps coming back
✓Busy, stressful weeks always bring them on
Painkillers aren't a treatment plan.
They're a pause button.
Many tension headaches are linked to the neck, shoulders and jaw. Stiff joints at the top of the neck, tight muscles and hours in one position can all refer pain into the head. Painkillers dull it. They don't change any of that, which is why we start by finding what's driving yours.
WHAT'S ACTUALLY GOING ON
/ Head and neck problems we treat every week
Different problems need different plans. Naming yours precisely is step one of fixing it.
A pressing or tight headache on both sides, often with neck and shoulder tension. Very common and very treatable.
Tension-type headaches
Headaches that start in the neck, often one-sided and linked to neck movement. Treating the neck often eases the head.
Neck-related headaches
Neck and shoulder tension from hours at a desk, laptop or steering wheel. We fix the set-up and the body.
Desk and screen tension
Jaw clenching, grinding and tight face muscles that feed into head pain. Hands-on work and simple habits help.
Jaw tension
A stiff neck that you can't turn fully, often after sleeping awkwardly. Usually settles quickly with the right care.
Acute stiff neck
Tight upper back and shoulders that leave you hunched by the end of the week. Mobility and strength make a big difference.
Upper back tightness
Headaches rarely sort themselves out if nothing changes.
The more often they come, the more you brace, clench and hold tension, which feeds the next one. Every week you wait is a week of tension we'll have to undo. Same-week appointments mean you don't have to wait.
/ The TAP Method, applied to your headaches
The reason our results last when quick fixes don't. One plan, one team, three steps.
OUR 3 STEP SYSTEM. WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR FIRST SESSION
01
Assess
A proper conversation about your headaches, then a full assessment: neck, shoulders, jaw, upper back, posture and your daily routine. We screen for anything that needs a doctor and find what is driving your headaches. Most people tell us nobody has ever looked this closely before.
02
Treat
Hands-on treatment from minute one: neck mobilisation, soft tissue work, massage, dry needling and cupping, tailored to what you actually need. You'll feel a difference before you leave the room.
03
Rebuild
Simple neck and upper back exercises, desk and sleep tweaks and stress habits that stick, so the headaches come less often and ease faster. This is the step every quick fix skips and the reason ours doesn't come back.
No GP referral, no scan required, no fixed packages, no pressure. In your first session we'll find what's actually driving your headaches and tell you honestly how we can help, or point you to who can if we're not the right fit.

Louise W · Fresha review · Neck
Amazing!! After struggling with neck pain for over 18 months and trying several treatments, I finally feel like I've found someone who truly understands the problem. Ema really listened, took the time to assess everything properly, and made a noticeable difference in just one session. Today I feel better than I have in a very long time. I'm so grateful and would highly recommend.

K AREN S · GOOGLE REVIEW · NECK & BACK PAIN

GOOD TO KNOW
/ Tension headache questions, answered
When should I see a doctor instead?
See your GP or call 111 if your headaches are new and severe, getting steadily worse or come with fever, a stiff neck, vision changes, weakness, confusion or numbness. Call 999 for a sudden, severe headache that peaks within seconds. We screen for these at every assessment.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with us as a private patient. If anything in your assessment suggests your headaches need medical checks, we will tell you and point you the right way.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people need somewhere between 2 and 5 sessions alongside their home plan. We'll give you an honest estimate at your first assessment. There are no fixed packages and you'll never be booked in for the sake of it.
Will a massage on its own fix it?
It often helps in the short term. Lasting change comes from treating the neck, building strength and changing the habits that keep winding the tension up. That is what your plan covers.
Can I be seen this week?
Almost always. We hold same-week appointments at Warwick (4 The Holloway), Stratford-upon-Avon (Unit 3, Avon House, 4 Mulberry Street) and Leamington Spa (REGEN Rooms, Augusta Place). Our Warwick clinic is open 7 days.
We also treat back pain, hip pain, sciatica, neck pain, shoulder pain and plantar fasciitis.
Ready for fewer headaches?
You've got three options: keep hoping it settles on its own, keep paying for quick fixes that last a few days, or let us find the real cause and fix it properly. Book your neck and headache assessment at Warwick or Stratford and take the first step towards fewer headaches today.
Your first session includes a full assessment. We'll find what's driving your headaches, or tell you honestly if we're not the right fit.
No fixed packages, no pressure.
