Padel injuries,
fixed properly

Padel is brilliant fun and it's everywhere right now. It's also fast, twisty and full of sudden lunges, which is why elbows, calves, shoulders and backs are paying the price. We fix the injury hands-on, find out why it happened and get you back on court stronger. Get better. Stay better.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

/ The padel niggle that
keeps you off court

✓Elbow pain every time you grip the bat or hit a bandeja

✓A sharp grab in the calf on a sudden lunge

✓Shoulder pain on smashes and overheads

✓Sore lower back after twisting all evening

✓Knees that ache after a weekend tournament

✓You rested a fortnight. It came back on the first match

Rest isn't a treatment plan.

It's a pause button.

Padel loads your body fast: quick lunges, constant twisting and a lot of overhead shots. Many injuries happen because players ramp up from one game a week to four, without the strength to match. Rest calms things down but doesn't build that strength. That's why padel injuries come back and why we start by finding the actual cause.

WHAT'S ACTUALLY GOING ON

/ Padel injuries we treat every week

Different problems need different plans. Naming yours precisely is step one of fixing it.

Pain on the outside of the elbow from gripping and hitting. The most common padel complaint we see and very fixable.

Padel elbow

A sudden grab or tear in the calf on a lunge or push-off. Early, graded loading gets you back sooner.

Calf strains

Pain on smashes, serves and overheads. Usually a strength and load problem we can retrain.

Shoulder pain

Aching or sharp pain after twisting and bending all match. Movement and strength usually beat rest.

Lower back pain

Rolled ankles from quick changes of direction on court. Proper rehab stops them going again.

Ankle sprains

Knee pain from lunging, pivoting and sudden stops. We look at the whole leg, not just the knee.

Knee pain

Padel injuries rarely fix themselves.

Keep playing through it and you start changing your swing and movement, which overloads something else. Every week you wait is a week of compensation we'll have to undo. Same-week appointments mean you don't have to wait.

The reason our results last when quick fixes don't. One plan, one team, three steps.

OUR 3 STEP SYSTEM. WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR FIRST SESSION

01

Assess

A proper conversation about your padel and the injury, then a full assessment: the sore area, strength, mobility and how you move on court. We find the true cause, not just where it hurts. Most players tell us nobody has ever looked this closely before.

02

Treat

Hands-on treatment from minute one: soft tissue work, mobilisation, dry needling, cupping and taping, tailored to what your injury actually needs. You'll feel a difference before you leave the room.

03

Rebuild

Strength and movement work built around padel: lunges, rotation, grip and overhead strength, plus a sensible return to court. This is the step every quick fix skips and the reason ours doesn't come back.

No GP referral, no scan required, no fixed packages, no pressure. In your first session we'll find what's actually driving your padel injury and tell you honestly how we can help, or point you to who can if we're not the right fit.

/ How long do padel injuries take?

Anyone promising to fix it in one session is guessing. Here's what we actually see in clinic when people follow their plan.

GOOD TO KNOW

/ Padel injury questions, answered

Do I need a GP referral or a scan first?

No. You can book directly with us as a private patient. A thorough physical assessment diagnoses most padel injuries accurately without a scan. If we think imaging would genuinely change your treatment, we'll tell you and point you the right way.

Can I keep playing?

Sometimes, with changes. Many players can keep playing a little while we fix the cause, especially with elbow and shoulder pain. Your plan will tell you how much is safe and what to avoid for now.

How many sessions will I need?

Most padel injuries need somewhere between 2 and 6 sessions alongside your home plan. We'll give you an honest estimate at your first assessment. There are no fixed packages and you'll never be booked in for the sake of it.

How do I stop it happening again?

Build up your playing gradually, warm up properly before matches and add simple strength work for your calves, shoulders and grip. We will give you a padel-specific plan to keep you on court.

Can I be seen this week?

Almost always. We hold same-week appointments at Warwick (4 The Holloway), Stratford-upon-Avon (Unit 3, Avon House, 4 Mulberry Street) and Leamington Spa (REGEN Rooms, Augusta Place). Our Warwick clinic is open 7 days.

We also treat back pain, hip pain, sciatica, neck pain, shoulder pain and plantar fasciitis.

Ready to get back on court?

You've got three options: keep hoping it settles on its own, keep paying for quick fixes that last a few days, or let us find the real cause and fix it properly. Book your injury assessment at Warwick or Stratford and take the first step back on court today.

Your first session includes a full assessment. We'll find what's driving your injury, or tell you honestly if we're not the right fit.

No fixed packages, no pressure.
