THE BIT NO ONE TELLS YOU
Reaching for painkillers for tension
headaches again?
The headache isn't the problem. The tension causing it is.
So many headaches start in tight muscles in the neck, upper back and scalp, the ones a desk,
a phone and a stressful week quietly wind up. Painkillers mute the ache; releasing that tension
addresses where it's actually coming from. That's what an Indian head massage does.
“Lauren has really helped me with my neck & shoulder pain. Kind, professional and very responsive.”

/ Four things you'll feel
WHAT IT DOES
Release the tight neck and scalp muscles that so many headaches actually start in.
01 Ease tension headaches
Undo the hard, hitched-up shoulders a stressful, screen-heavy week leaves behind.
02 Loosen neck & shoulders
Slow a racing head and leave feeling genuinely settled, not just briefly distracted.
03 Calm a busy mind
Less tension and a calmer nervous system often mean deeper sleep and clearer days.
04 Sleep & focus better
WHY IT WORKS
You carry more in your head and neck than you realise.

Tension you push through builds. The longer the neck and shoulders stay wound up, the more the headaches and the fog settle in. A single session can start to unwind it, and same-week appointments mean relief needn't wait.
GOOD TO KNOW
/ Indian Head Massage in Leamington Spa, FAQs
Can Indian head massage really help my headaches?
For tension-type headaches, very often yes, because it releases the neck and scalp tension
they usually stem from. If your headaches are frequent or severe, we'll also flag if you should see your GP.
Do I have to get undressed?
No. Indian head massage is done seated and fully clothed, working through the shoulders, neck, scalp and head.
Will it mess up my hair?
We can work with or without oils, so just let us know. Many people are happy with a little scalp oil;
others prefer none before work.
How often should I have one?
Many people come every few weeks to stay on top of tension. We'll suggest what suits you.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. Book directly online as a private client and usually be seen the same week.
